IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Forth Regional Corporate Social Responsibility Accolade in 2017

[June 5, 2017, Macau] MGM is proud to receive the “Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award” (AREA) from Enterprise Asia, being the first and only enterprise and integrated resort operator in Macau to have won this regional accolade since its inception in 2009. This is also the forth regional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award that the Company received in the first half of 2017, further recognizing its corporate dedication to community responsibility initiatives.

This year’s Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony took place in Bangkok, Thailand on June 2. The Award Ceremony brought together top industry leaders to celebrate outstanding achievements in the field of CSR, and to recognize Asian enterprises as being at the forefront of sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship. MGM is the winner for the “Investment in People” category with its “Unleashing Greatness – Employee Development and Employee Work-Life Balance” programs, demonstrating the Company’s leadership and excellence in creating an optimal work environment for its Golden Lion Team.

Mr. Grant Bowie, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, said, “Great people are the true foundation of successful enterprises, and our deep belief in this has enabled us to earn four regional CSR awards in just a few months’ time. These honors renew our efforts in promoting the philosophy of work-life balance as well as caring for family and community among our team members. We will continue to motivate them to reach their full potential through a variety of training and development programs, while at the same time finding innovative ways to give back to the community.”

MGM garnered the “Outstanding Social Caring Organization Award” from Social Enterprise Research Institute of Hong Kong, and the “Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” from Mirror Post Hong Kong in February and April respectively. Not long after, MGM was awarded “Outstanding Contribution in the Field of CSR” at the Asia Gaming Awards Ceremony on May 16, recognizing its on-going commitment to the local community, its employees and the environment. This also makes the Company the first winner to achieve such recognition.

In 2016, MGM and its team served the Macau community in numerous ways: The Volunteer Team completed a new record of more than 6,400 hours of community service through 95 community events. For its staff of approximately 6,000, MGM provided more than 268,900 training hours and hosted a variety of teambuilding initiatives.
