MGM COTAI to Offer Elegant Guest Rooms and Customized Meeting Experiences

Jun 21, 2017

[June 21, 2017, Macau] MGM COTAI, a HK$26 billion integrated resort unlike any other in Macau, will become the newest premier destination for individuals and groups who expect the best in service and amenities when its doors open in the fourth quarter of this year. MGM COTAI is available to host engaging meetings, small private gatherings, weddings and special events.

With its 2,870-square meter versatile meeting space, MGM COTAI is ideal for a wide variety of events, from small private gatherings to product launches, high impact presentations, award ceremonies and concerts. Our meeting spaces utilize MGM COTAI’s professional hospitality experience and innovative technology to deliver great meetings and events for individual and corporate guests. The spacious pillar-free Grand Ballroom can host up to 1,000 people. For a more intimate setting, guests may opt for the Boardroom. Overlooking the resort’s stunning reflective pool and lush greenery, Vista offers a spacious alfresco terrace connected to an indoor event space with floor-to-ceiling windows, making it the perfect venue for guests seeking an airy, tropical atmostphere.

Beyond the function rooms, MGM Theater - a dynamic space that can transform into over 10 different configurations with the press of a button - will become Macau’s most innovative space, redefining the way guests experience events and entertainment. This versatile venue can accommodate up to 2,000 guests and has 180 degrees of 4K LED screens to showcase a brand or highlight an event.

Complementing the state-of-the-art meeting spaces is the resort’s team of talented culinary experts. Globally-acclaimed chefs Mauro Colagreco, Mitsuharu Tsumura, Graham Elliot and Janice Wong are at the helm of culinary adventures at MGM COTAI, together with the resort’s catering team, to delight guests’ palates and enhance any occasion.

Unwind in Luxury

After a day of meetings, guests can relax and re-energize at the resort’s 1,390 guest rooms. In keeping with MGM’s reputation for best in class facilities, the guest rooms manifest a serene setting by blending sophisticated elegance and modern luxuries, with comfortable and functional design. Staying true to its ethos of making great moments at MGM, guests can relax and indulge at MGM COTAI with its unparalleled services.

Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal the surroundings and fill the interiors with a natural ambience. Guests at the Resort Rooms can indulge in the spectacular panoramic views of Cotai, scenic fountains or the horizon. The Suites are ideal for guests who desire extra space and comfort, featuring separate living and dining areas, a day bed, as well as a spacious, marble master bathroom with a large vanity, deep soaking tub and separate steam shower.

For the first time MGM’s Skylofts are expanding beyond Las Vegas to Cotai. Taking inspiration from New York City’s lofts, each Skyloft is a one-of-a-kind duplex space, soaring above Cotai at the resort’s North Hotel Tower. Each Skyloft includes unique design elements, for example some will feature a digitally animated pool table to create an eccentric entertainment experience. Also there are two sets of art collections, themed “If You Can Dream” and “New Ink New Language” encompassing works by world-renowned artists such as Andy Warhol and Ma Desheng, will be featured in selected Skylofts.

Skylofts combine spectacular design, dramatic views and unparalleled personal service. Skyloft guests will have access to the exclusive Sky Lounge located on the 33rd and 35th floor atop the hotel’s North Tower, with dedicated check-in and private concierge service as well as complimentary food and beverage offerings.

Ms. Victoria Fuh, Vice President of Resort Sales of MGM, says, “We have seen an increasing demand for unique and high quality meeting, incentive, exhibition and convention (MICE) venues in Macau. MGM COTAI will provide the perfect meeting place for our business partners with seamless integration of technology that will create a functional yet innovative space. Thoughtful artistic and creative touches will be featured throughout the resort and in the guest rooms, keeping true to the MGM brand which is known for its incredible heritage in artistry and entertainment.”
