‘Vienna Flute Mozartet’ Performs at MGM COTAI

[May 14, 2018, Macau] MGM remains consistent in spearheading unprecedented art movements in Macau to develop Macau as a Culturally Sustainable City. To cultivate appreciation for art and culture in those from all walks of life, MGM supported and sponsored the concert “Vienna Flute Mozartet” organized by the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Association (MYSO), presenting to Macau locals a spectacular concert by a quartet from the internationally renowned Vienna Philharmonic.
The concert, held at MGM COTAI, received a tumultuous response from the audience of more than 300. The quartet included Dieter Flury, former President and Principal Flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic; Alina Pinchas, violinist of the Vienna Philharmonic; Tobias Lea, Principal Viola of the Vienna Philharmonic; and Tamás Vargaz, Principal Cellist of the Vienna Philharmonic. They performed works by Mozart, Schubert, Roussel, and Reger, including Quartet in C-Major, Trio for Flute, Viola and Cello, Op.40, Serenade No.1 in D-Major, Op.77a for Flute, Violin and Viola, and more.
