MGM Dragon Boat Team Roars to New Heights at 2019 Macau International Dragon Boat Races
MGM women’s team competed against several strong teams from Asia and eventually won the first running-up in the Macau International Invitation Standard Dragon Boat Race – Women Category – B Final (500M).

[June 7, 2019, Macau] MGM Dragon Boat Team members paddled their hearts out and best demonstrated the Golden Lion Team spirit at the 2019 Macau International Dragon Boat Races. After several months of intensive practice, MGM Dragon Boat Team has successfully roared to new heights at the races and snatched two Silver and one Bronze medals.

 

In the Macau International Invitation Standard Dragon Boat Race – Women Category – B Final (500M), the women’s team competed against several strong teams from Asia and eventually won the first running-up. The team further won the first runner-up and second running-up in the Macau Standard Dragon Boat Race (500M) and the Macau Small Dragon Boat Race (200M) respectively.

 

A total of 57 MGM team members took part in the Macao International Dragon Boat Races 2019, consisting of 90 percent of local employees. Over the past ten months, the Dragon Boat Team members have dedicated their time to intensive training, setting the right tone from the get-go and striving to roar to new heights at the races. This year, the children of MGM team members specially formed a dance team, bringing their dynamic and energetic live performance to cheer for the dragon boat team.
