[November 23, 2017, Macau] As a socially responsible corporation in Macau, MGM made a donation of MOP1.2 million to the Macau Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society, including MOP500,000 to its annual fundraising campaign, and a special donation of MOP700,000 to its Chinese Pharmacy which suffered severe losses and damages post Typhoon Hato. This special donation will be devoted to the purchase of Chinese herbal medicine and equipment. To date, MGM has donated a total of MOP4.3 million to the Society, contributing towards its provision of local social welfare services at large.

A check presentation was held at MGM MACAU today. Mr. Grant Bowie, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited; Ms. Sarah Rogers, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Responsibility of MGM and Ms. Irene Wong, Vice President of Public and Community Relations of MGM, officially presented the donation to the Tung Sin Tong delegation including Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President; Mr. Kevin Ho and Mr. Charles Choy, Directors.

Mr. Grant Bowie said, “Tung Sin Tong is a demonstration of the kind-heartedness of the Macau locals who have been helping each other over the past 125 years. Their Chinese Pharmacy has been providing free medical care and services, healing the Macau community from one generation to another. When we learned about their losses as a result of Typhoon Hato, we see this as our topmost priority to help them to resume their full services for the sake of the whole community.”
