[March 5, 2018, Macau] MGM celebrated the start of the Chinese New Year with senior members of the Women’s General Association of Macau on March 3 with an exhilarating lion dance performed by MGM’s Junior Lion Dance Troupe and singing performances.

The celebration was jointly organized by five service centers operating under the Women’s General Association of Macau, including the Family Service Centre, Centro de Apoio Familiar da Zona Norte, Centro de Apoio Múltiplo à Família “Alegria em Harmonia,” Joyful Family Service Centre, and the Posto de Apoio Familiar das Ilhas, spreading the loving warmth and kindness to approximately 200 senior members during this festive season. To soak up the atmosphere, an energetic lion dance was cheerfully performed by the youngest Lion Dance Troupe in Macau – graduates of MGM’s Junior Lion Dance Training Program. MGM volunteers also sang a wide range of songs that greatly charmed and delighted the audience.

Upholding its dedication and commitment to the local community, MGM held a series of its signature initiatives including the “Spring Clean for Love” and “Haircut for Love” programs during the Chinese New Year, making great moments for those that mean the most to us in the community. This is made possible through the dedication of its Golden Lion Volunteer Team members who are willing to donate their time and effort for a good cause.
