The Emerald Villa of MGM COTAI is honored to win the 5-star accolade, the highest level of honor, in the category of Best Hotel Interior Macau - Asia Pacific 2022 at the world-renowned International Property Awards, regarded as one of the most important events in the global property industry. The International Property Awards bring the number of international interior design prizes recognizing the Emerald Villa to three in total in just one year after its launch— In 2021, the Emerald Villa was named the Winner at the SBID International Design Awards 2021 in the Hotel Bedroom & Suites Design category, as well as the Platinum Winner at the 2021 MUSE Design Awards in the Interior Design (Hotels & Resorts) category.

Each of its 28 villas is a treasure chest filled with magnificent art pieces and cultural elements, immersing its guests in an unbounded experience where modern aesthetics meets traditional Chinese heritage. The Emerald Villa vividly embodies MGM’s steadfast pursuit of exquisite craftsmanship and its “Originality + Innovation” spirit.

At Emerald Villa, aesthetics and functionality are the core of its multiple award-winning design. Some unique design features include the centerpiece diamond-shaped aquarium enlivening the 3-bedroom villas with its traditional symbol of good fortune and vitality; the custom-made rotatable sand art piece resembling Chinese landscape paintings; the bespoke gold ingot-inspired bathtub pampering and amazing guests; the KTV rooms with rhythm interactive lighting wall feature, Rio Chaise Lounge by famed Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, and so on.
