Two signature restaurants at MGM – Imperial Court at MGM MACAU and Five Foot Road at MGM COTAI, have been recognized for their culinary excellence with listings in the prestigious 100 Top Tables 2023 hosted by internationally renowned media, South China Morning Post (SCMP). This recognition serves as a testament to MGM’s unwavering strive to strengthen Macau’s position as a UNESCO-designated “Creative City of Gastronomy,” meanwhile promoting Chinese culture through gastronomy and craftsmanship.
Published annually, the SCMP 100 Top Tables guide names the best restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau, honors and celebrates the Food and Beverage industry of both cities. Coming to its 11th edition, the signature dining guide has been recognized as the definitive guide to the executive dining scene in Hong Kong and Macau.

Essence of Lingnan Culinary Craftsmanship
Listed on the SCMP 100 Top Tables once again, Imperial Court serves enticing classic Lingnan culinary fare with a modern, reinvented twist. The grand dining room of restaurant is home to a signature ornamental column featuring a masterful craving of a dragon, which coheres with the exquisite Liuli (traditional colored glaze used by ancient Chinese royal families) tableware. While the menu pays tributes to the essence of Lingnan culinary culture, which are seasonality, balanced seasoning and focus on the original flavors of ingredients, Chef de Cuisine Homan Tsui also values creativity in his practice at Imperial Court, pushing him to continue expanding horizons of gastronomy enthusiasts. Taste the gem of Lingnan cuisine with the Crispy fried chicken skin with shrimp mousse and salted fish flakes, a handcrafted classic reinvented by Chef Homan to a whole new level.
Authentic Chengdu-Sichuanese Cuisine
Sichuanese restaurant Five Foot Road takes guests back in time to the Sichuanese fine dining experience of official banquets and soirée for the respected society held at the mansions of Chengdu back in the early 20th century. Stepping into the Chinese ornamented dining room with landscape paintings and poetry calligraphies, guests embark on a multi-sensory discovery journey with the most authentic delicacies that bring flavors beyond the public perception of fiery and hot. With nearly 40 years of culinary experience, Chef Yang Dengquan, Chef de Cuisine of the restaurant, delivers the daintiest side of Sichuanese authentic cooking with his combination of meticulous execution and high-quality ingredients, introducing the distinctive 24 flavors of Sichuan Cuisine to locals and tourists. Numerous classic Chengdu dishes served at the mansions of the old times are featured on the restaurant’s, including the Stewed minced chicken bouillon with bird’s nest, which brings a long-lasting fragrance is known as the epitome of Chengdu cuisine.
