MGM Harvests 19 Wine Awards from Three Top Global Entities
MGM’s Restaurants and Beverage Team Recognized by Wine Spectator, China’s Wine List of The Year Awards and Star Wine List of the Year 2023
Housing over 2,300 labels with nearly 25,000 bottles of vintages and appellations from around the world, MGM boasts one of the most extensive wine collections in Macau.

Home to comprehensive wine lists with sophisticated menu pairing, MGM has recently been crowned by internationally acclaimed wine authorities. MGM’s beverage team and its six signature restaurants across the two MGM resorts in Macau, including the 1-MICHELIN Star Sichuanese restaurant Five Foot Road, Black Pearl One-diamond Cantonese restaurant Imperial Court, alongside Chún, Aux Beaux Arts, Aji and Grill 58, have garnered multiple first honors from the world’s leading authorities on wine, including the China’s Wine List of The Year Awards, U.S. based Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards, and Star Wine List of the Year from Sweden. The array of accolades again exemplifies MGM’s excellence in dining and hospitality.

China’s Wine List of the Year

Imperial Court and Aux Beaux Arts at MGM MACAU, as well as Chún and Grill 58, have been awarded the highest honor of “Three-glass Excellent Glass Rating” under China’s Wine List of The Year Awards. The Award recognizes professional wine investments in skill and resources that go into developing the best quality wine lists for China’s enthusiastic food and wine public. This year, Grill 58, has stood out even further and named as the only winner for three of the highest grading in the scheme, including “China’s Wine List of the Year 2023 – Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan”, “China’s Best Luxury Fine Wine Cellar List” and “Best Wine List – Macau SAR”. In addition, Aux Beaux Arts is also listed under the “Hall of Fame” award list for its outstanding wine offerings.

What’s more, Silven Wong, Director of Beverage, and Andy Tam, Assistant Director of Beverage at MGM were being awarded with the “China’s Outstanding F&B Director of the Year” and “China’s Outstanding Sommelier of the Year” respectively among Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards

Dedicated for affluent wine connoisseurs and collectors for over 40 years, the professional wine magazine Wine Spectator annually recognizes restaurant outlets with outstanding wine lists that offer interesting selections, that are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. This year marks the 12th consecutive Wine Spectator award for Aux Beaux Arts, which has once again earned the pinnacle “Three-Glass Grand Award” starting from 2016. According to its criteria, only outlets with over thousand selections with immense depth and breadth of regions, producers, vintages and bottle formats are being considered on this top list. Imperial Court, Grill 58 and Chún have also received the “Two-Glass Best of Award of Excellence” once again.

Star Wine List of the Year

The Star Wine List of the Year is bar and wine restaurant guide created in 2017 that targets the audience of wine connoisseurs and collectors. To date, it has published various versions of different cities in over 30 countries across the globe, covering major cities in Europe, Americas, Oceania, Asia and Africa. With extensive wine lists, Five Foot Road, Aux Beaux Arts, Aji and Grill 58 have all received the “Red Star” grading, the highest grading in the scheme, while Chún was also recognized as a “White Star” restaurant.

Housing over 2,300 labels with nearly 25,000 bottles of vintages and appellations from around the world, MGM boasts one of the most extensive wine collections in Macau to suit a broad spectrum of connoisseurs and collectors in its wine cellars at both MGM MACAU and MGM COTAI – the altar to the winemaker’s art.
