[May 30, 2025, Macau] In a bid to expand its international tourist markets, MGM actively participates in the mega roadshow organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) in Seoul, Korea from May 30 to June 2. During this event, MGM offers a variety of exclusive promotions and discounts for the audience, highlighting both its own and Macau’s signature cultural tourism experiences. These include the residency show Macau 2049, the POLY MGM MUSEUM, city tour packages, and creative products from Macau’s original brands, showcasing the diverse appeal of the city’s “Tourism+” initiatives.
To enhance audience engagement, MGM has unveiled a newly designed Golden Lion Capsule Lucky Draw Machine at its booth. A total of 3,000 prizes will be distributed to visitors who participated in the lucky draw, with prizes including tickets and discounts for Macau 2049, themed souvenirs from the POLY MGM MUSEUM, and products from Macau SMEs showcased at the Macau MinM Plaza. The presence of MGM's mascot, Leo, also delights the audience with his warm interactions. Additionally, Korean bloggers have been invited to come to MGM’s booth to promote Macau's extensive tourism offerings from a local perspective, further amplifying the event’s reach and appeal. All efforts are designed to boost "Made in Macau, Macau Brand, Macau Design" and MGM’s rich offerings, encouraging more Korean visitors to choose Macau as their premier travel destination.
MGM has also introduced city tour experience packages, including the experiences of Macau Tower Skywalk, Cheongsam, Portuguese Craft, and Intangible Cultural Heritage Handmade Incense, which allow tourists to immerse themselves in an in-depth exploration of Macau. Besides, Macau not only continues to attract Korean tourists as the “Culture City of East Asia”, but also facilitates cultural exchange in East Asia. From June 7 to 8, MGM will once again partner with Robb Report Hong Kong to roll out the “MGM x RR1HK Culinary Masters Macau 2025” event themed on “Flavors of Harmony: A Culinary Journey Through East Asia”. This gastronomic showcase will bring culinary masters from China, Japan, and Korea together, such as Kang Min-goo, chef of Korea’s only three-Michelin-starred restaurant Mingles; Hiroki Nakanoue, chef-owner of Japan’s two-Michelin-starred Sushiyoshi; Cheung Yat Fung, a renowned Chiuchow cuisine expert from Hong Kong; along with MGM’s award-winning chefs Pan Sihui and Yang Dengquan. The event will serve as a bridge, fostering dialogue and collaboration among East Asian culinary cultures.
