MGM COTAI Unveils “The Traveler’s Whisper” Series at Bar Patuá
Guest Mixologist Collaborations to Celebrate Multicultural Charm
This July, Bar Patuá will welcome two exclusive guest shifts featuring internationally acclaimed mixologists.

To infuse Macau’s vibrant dining scene with global flair, MGM is proud to introduce a new guest mixologist series: The Traveler’s Whisper at Bar Patuá. Celebrating the city’s rich multicultural heritage, the series presents innovative beverage experiences by renowned mixologists from around the world, which blends the essences from East and West under the contemporary elegance of Bar Patuá at MGM COTAI — a destination defined by its harmonious integration of Macanese charm and modern sophistication. With a spirit that echoes its story, Bar Patuá sets the expressive stage for moments of intimacy, romance, and connection, making it the ideal canvas for mixology artistry.

 

This July, Bar Patuá will welcome two exclusive guest shifts featuring internationally acclaimed mixologists: Ryu Fujii from Craftroom, Japan and Yong Wei from Native, Singapore. Guests will embark on a sensory journey, enjoying signature creations from these mixology luminaries alongside Bar Patuá’s own signature expressions.

 

On July 14, Ryu Fujii, owner and master mixologist of Craftroom, Osaka — ranked No. 58 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 and No. 28 in 2024, will showcase his precision mixology through three exquisite tea wine cocktails in Bar Patuá, where tradition meets innovation in every glass. At the same time, this collaboration aligns with Bar Patuá’s philosophy of reimagining tea traditions through modern mixology.

 

On July 16, Bar Patuá will welcome Yong Wei, the head bartender of Native from Singapore for an exclusive takeover, the guest mixologist will showcase signature creations from their innovative and sustainability-driven menu. Renowned for Native’s creative, zero-waste philosophy, Native has earned global recognition through its presence on the Asia’s 50 Best Bar list for multiple years, and most recently ranking was No. 31 in 2024.
