MGM Extends Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave from March 1

[February 28, 2026, Macau] MGM announces paid maternity leave will be extended from 70 to 90 days, while paid paternity leave will increase from 5 to 7 days, starting from March 1, 2026. This initiative demonstrates MGM‘s full support to the Macao Government’s childbirth initiatives, while further strengthening MGM‘s culture of family and belonging.

Wendy Yu, Executive Vice President of Human Resources of MGM, said, “MGM continues to cultivate a supportive, caring, and family-friendly workplace for our team members, while actively responding to and supporting the SAR Government's fertility-related policies through practical initiatives. The enhancement of paid maternity and paternity leave fully demonstrates the Company's dedication and commitment to employee well-being and its further contribution to building a fertility-friendly environment in Macau.

At MGM, creating a friendly and caring experience has always been at the heart of our company culture. We firmly believe that our team members’ family happiness is a vital foundation for individual well-being, workplace engagement, and sustainable development. To support our team members through different stages of life, we continuously enhance our benefits, programs and facilities - including the launch of Mother Zone in back-of-house areas, providing breastfeeding mothers with a private and comfortable space.

Looking ahead, MGM will continue to introduce more family-friendly initiatives and move forward with our team and the community together toward a brighter and more fulfilling future.
