To celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Long March victory, MGM has actively supported the Macao SAR Government’s commemorative initiatives by organizing team members to watch the patriotic film “Crossing” on July 2. More than 120 team members participated in the screening to gain a deeper understanding about the historical significance of battle of Chishui River during the Long March to foster patriotism.
Zhao Su, Assistant of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Wendy Yu, Executive Vice President of Human Resources of MGM; Liu Changmei, Distributor of “Crossing” in Macau and others attended the special screening event. The film depicts the Red Army’s victorious Four Crossings of the Chishui River Campaign during the Long March, highlighting the exceptional leadership, strategic acumen and teamwork that enabled the troops to overcome overwhelming odds and achieve a remarkable breakthrough.

It served as a valuable reminder to cherish the peace and stability we enjoy today and also inspired us to carry forward the values of perseverance, self-improvement, and resilience to future generations.”
