MGM is actively supporting the Macao SAR Government’s “Tourism and ‘Leisure’ Buses: Exploring Community Charms” initiative (the “Project”). As the first integrated resort operator to partner with merchants along the shuttle routes to offer exclusive visitor privileges, MGM is introducing a brand-new "Leisure Shuttle Stamp Rewards" campaign as the Project enters its second phase. The campaign encourages visitors to explore local neighborhoods, stimulating community spending while creating additional business opportunities for local SMEs.
As part of the Government's enhancements to the Leisure Bus services, MGM earlier added MGM MACAU as a new boarding point. In addition to the existing weekend schedules, the second phase will introduce Friday services from July 17 to August 30, as well as additional services during the National Day, Christmas, and New Year holidays, further enhancing convenience for visitors traveling to and from local communities.
Since joining the Project in late April, MGM has consistently expanded its network of participating businesses to more than 40 local establishments. The participating merchants span a diverse range of sectors, including specialty dining, retail, souvenir shops, and lifestyle services, and all offer exclusive consumer discounts. MGM has also produced dedicated promotional leaflets highlighting the offers available at participating outlets.
Beginning July 17, passengers boarding the MGM Leisure Bus will receive a stamp collection map. By making any purchase at participating merchants, passengers can collect stamps and, upon accumulating the required number of stamps, redeem limited-edition MGM gifts at the Ticketing Counter in the Lion Lobby of MGM COTAI. Moving forward, MGM will continue to expand its partner network to further broaden the discount ecosystem.
Furthermore, the MGM team visited various local neighborhoods from May to July to introduce the initiative. These promotional activities will continue throughout the second half of the year to further broaden the Project’s reach and strengthen community engagement.
