With the commitment of “Create a Better Tomorrow Today”, MGM donated MOP600,000 to Macau Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society in supporting its annual fundraising campaign. For the twelfth consecutive year, MGM has donated a total of MOP5.4 million to the Society, contributing towards its provision of local social welfare services at large. This year, the Company collaborates with Tung Sin Tong to set up a booth to promote their service at the back of house of MGM COTAI for the very first time. It serves the purpose of introducing the background and services of Tung Sin Tong to MGM team members, as well as spreading its charitable spirit with donation games.
On behalf of the Company, Mr. Grant Bowie, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited; Mr. Kenneth Feng, President, Chief Strategic Officer and Director of MGM China Holdings Limited; Ms. Wendy Yu, Senior Vice President of Human Resources of MGM; and Ms. Irene Wong, Vice President of Public and Community Relations of MGM, presented the donation to the Tung Sin Tong delegation, including Mr. José Chui, President of Board of Directors; Ms. Chiang Sao Meng, Vice Chairman of Board of Directors; Ms. Eva Lou and Mr. Charles Choy, Directors.
The delegation also pays a visit to their booth at the back of house, as well as other employee facilities of MGM COTAI to know more about its daily operations. The event concludes with a sharing session, where both parties exchange their ideas on local charity.
Mr. Grant Bowie said, “As one of the local major charitable organizations with a history of 127 year, Tung Sin Tong has long been committed to providing our community with free services, such as education, elderly and children daycare, and medical treatment. Since MGM and Tung Sin Tong share the same values on charity, we are extremely honored to contribute to their efforts once again, and even more excited to spread their sprit to our team members through the back of house roadshow, thus bringing positive impacts to our community.”
