MGM has received the Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award for the third consecutive year and earned its second Ambassadors of Corporate Social Responsibility honor at the 8th Cross-Strait-Four-Region Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award Ceremony organized by Mirror Post of Hong Kong. The acknowledgement made MGM the only enterprise in Macau again receiving the acclaim, exemplifying the Company’s excellence in fulfilling corporate social responsibility.
The 8th Cross-Strait-Four-Region Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award Ceremony was held at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong on October 28, with the Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Mr. Leung Chun-ying invited as the Guest of Honor. Other guests included officials of the Hong Kong SAR government, leading figures of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong SAR as well as prestigious entrepreneurs, experts and scholars. A panel of judges comprising 11 high achievers in various fields assessed corporations from four regions across the China Strait on commitments to shareholders and customers, employee care, community relations, environmental protection, leadership and more.
