A Feast for Reunion with Loved Ones

Imperial Court, the Lingnan restaurant being recognized by the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide, presents a Chinese New Year Set Menu featuring seafood and seasonal ingredients such as Baked Boston lobster with glutinous rice cake and chanterelle mushroom, as well as the Double-boiled abalone soup with dendrobium flower and bamboo pith. These dishes symbolize prosperity and auspiciousness. Chun will also offer a special festive prix-fixe menu consisting of classic and creative dishes. The Chinese New Year 8-course menus at both restaurants start from MOP 7,800* for six persons. Also, a variety of exquisite Cantonese dim sum and festive dishes will be offered during the period. What’s more, Chun will introduce a limited-time Chinese-style afternoon tea set, allowing everyone to indulge exquisite pastries while enjoying the greatly loved Sea Odyssey Show under the free-span gridshell glazed roof of the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS.

In addition, the One-Michelin-starred Sichuan restaurant Five Foot Road, will present a series of classic festive Sichuanese dishes. Chef Yang Dengquan, with over 40 years of experience in the cuisine, brings a rich and diverse range of delicacies to Macau, including the traditional Double-boiled chicken soup with Chinese herbs and wolfberry, and Steamed sunflower chicken with pickled chili, as well as the Sichuanese specialties like Wok-fried glutinous rice with pork belly, sesame paste and crushed pistachio nuts. The delicacies will surely cater to everyone's palate with flavors beyond fiery and hot.

No Chinese New Year celebration is complete without a luxurious Big Bowl Feast, symbolizing abundance and prosperity. Both Chun and Imperial Court will offer two “Poon Choi” options, with premium ingredients such as abalone, fish maw, Japanese Otari Scallops, and sea cucumber, with prices starting from MOP 1,880*.

Other Chinese and Western restaurants at both MGM MACAU and MGM COTAI will also serve special menus or festive buffets during the period. Only available during the first three days of the Chinese New Year (February 10 to 12), Imperial Court will present the hand-written auspicious phrases by Chinese calligraphers, while Five Foot Road will offer traditional Chinese Dragon's beard confection to its guests.
