MGM Rolls Out “Community Care Campaign 2014” Ten Elderly Couples Took First Set of Wedding Photos at Grande Praça

[July 28, 2014] MGM MACAU’s Golden Lion Volunteer Team has held various types of community events each year since June 2010, as an effort to connect with the community and to share love and compassion with those in need. The Team has rolled out its second “Community Care Campaign,” follow last year’s success, which features a highlight event – “Love Actually Charity Program.” Ten elderly couples from Vui Fai Elderly Service Centre (Centro de Dia “Brilho da Vida”), aged 65 and above in average and have been married for more than 50 years, were invited to take their very first set of wedding photos at the stunning Grande Praça of MGM MACAU.

The expressed their feelings during the Wedding Photography session: “Today is the happiest day of my life, it is our first time wearing a wedding gown and we feel beautiful! Thanks to MGM MACAU for always showing care and love”. 

Ms. Wendy Yu, Senior Vice President of Human Resources said, "MGM MACAU Golden Lion Volunteer Team holds various types of community events each year and ‘Love Actually Charity Program’ was held today to highlight the memorable moments of the ten elderly couples. The participants were so happy and in love, which have also encouraged people to extend their care to their families and friends”.
