MGM MACAU Donates MOP 2 million for Yunnan Relief

[Macau – August 13, 2014] MGM MACAU donated MOP 2 million to the Liaison Office of Central People’s Government in the Macau S.A.R. for disaster relief following the Yunnan earthquake which occurred on August 3, 2014.

On August 13, Ms. Pansy Ho, Co-chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, and Mr. Grant R. Bowie, Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, handed over the donation check to Mr. Chen Sixi, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau S.A.R., and Mr. Wang Xindong, Director-General of Economic Affairs Department of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau S.A.R.

MGM MACAU is committed to supporting charity and community affairs.  The donation will help bring some much-needed relief to the victims of the massive earthquake, which struck Ludian County in the Southwest Yunnan Province on August 3, causing catastrophic destruction in the region.

The Liaison Office expressed gratitude to MGM MACAU and vowed to transfer the donation to the quake-hit region as soon as possible.
