[November 21, 2016, Macau] MGM donated MOP500,000 to Macau Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society to support its annual fund-raising activity. As part of MGM’s dedication and commitment to the community, MGM has donated a total of MOP3.1 million to the society over nine consecutive years, in support of its local community programs as well as charitable causes.

A check presentation ceremony was held at MGM MACAU on November 18, where a delegation from Tung Sin Tong including Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, President; Mr. Charles Choy and Mr. Alberto Lei, Directors, received a donation check of MOP500,000, presented by Mr. Grant Bowie, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited; Ms. Sarah Rogers, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Responsibility of MGM and Ms. Irene Wong, Vice President of Public and Community Relations of MGM.

“We have very similar corporate philosophy regarding social responsibility, and we agree that it is very important to support initiatives that can have a positive impact in the well-being of the community,” Mr. Grant Bowie said. “MGM takes corporate social responsibility as an integral part of its business, and shares that dedication to giving back to the community in which we live and work. We are very honored to play a part in contributing to the efforts of Tung Sin Tong once again, and we are looking at many other ways to further support the society’s work to create a better future for Macau.”

MGM’s on-going relationship with Tung Sin Tong dates back to 2008, with the common goal to provide support and resources to people in need in the local community. MGM will remain a consistent supporter of community initiatives, in line with our vision to Create a Better Tomorrow Today.
