MGM Introduces AI Aerial Inspection System by Local Young Entrepreneur
Supports Local Tech SMEs to Accelerate Macau’s Development Towards Smart City
MGM inked a procurement contract with Logic Lift, which makes MGM the first enterprise in Macau to utilize the INSKY Aerial Inspection System.

MGM has been proactively supporting the development of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and fostering a thriving ecosystem for their growth. Earlier, the Company has inked a procurement contract with Logic Lift, a local youth entrepreneur and tech SME who also took part in the “MGM x MYEIC Young Entrepreneur Nurturing Program”, which makes MGM the first enterprise in Macau to utilize the INSKY Aerial Inspection System – a groundbreaking technology that replaces work-at-height external building inspections with autopilot drones, which immensely improves the efficiency, cost and team member’s safety. This collaboration not only further exemplifies MGM’s undivided support towards local tech firms as well as their products and services, but also accelerates Macau’s development towards a smart city and opens more growth opportunities for local SMEs through an increased uptake of digital solutions in tourism industry.

Logic Lift is a local tech SME found in 2021, who is also a member of the Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (MYEIC). The firm first connected with MGM through taking part in the “MGM x MYEIC Young Entrepreneur Nurturing Program”, and later on established a partnership.

Hugo Tou, General Manager of Logic Lift, said, “MGM is our very first client in Macau, which enables us to bring in INSKY Aerial Inspection System for external building inspection to the city. Throughout our communications, MGM’s Facility Management team has offered us pragmatic suggestions and information, which helped us to enhance our product from the user’s perspective and eventually unlocked this fresh business opportunity for us. We have also learnt about the facility management requirements and needs of an integrated resort, which has been inspiring to our next steps – that we will explore the direction of industry-university research cooperation, hoping to extend the use of AI in Macau’s field of property and facility management and enhance safety and efficiency.”

MGM is determined to increase operational efficiency through the utilization of technologies. As drone technology is getting more mature and widely used in the market, MGM will start using the INSKY Aerial Inspection System for its regular external building inspections. With the use of AI technology and drone, the Company can conduct comprehensive inspections on MGM COTAI in just one to two days instead of months, which also lowers the cost to only 25% of the traditional inspections. Realizing a digitalized and autocatalyzed management, this product automatically generates precise and systematic report in a timely manner, enabling the user to identify any damage or unusuality on the surface of the buildings and react immediately. Such innovative solution not only improves the efficiency and cost, but more essentially it reduces the risk of work-at-height operations, hence further lowering the risk of occupational safety.
