MGM Celebrates 16th Anniversary with Golden Lion Team Announces Discretionary Bonus to Eligible Team Members
MGM hosted a grand celebration at the Grande Praça of MGM MACAU to celebrate its 16th anniversary.

To celebrate MGM’s 16th anniversary, the Company hosted a grand celebration at the Grande Praça of MGM MACAU in appreciation to the dedication and commitment of the Golden Lion team. The Company also announced that a discretionary bonus, equivalent to one month’s salary, will be paid to eligible team members – as a recognition for their continued hard work in the past year. The discretionary bonus will be paid around the Chinese New Year of 2024, and over 95% team members can be rewarded.

Pansy Ho, Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited and management team members joined the celebration with the Golden Lion team and said, “Over the past 16 years, MGM has been making many great moments and pioneering countless breakthroughs in Macau. All these achievements could only be made possible through the devotion of around 12,000 members of the Golden Lion team. As we are going to rejoice the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland in 2024, we are set for more development potential. MGM will continue leverage our strength to create further greatness. We will organize and participate in more iconic events and activities, and our properties will undergo full-scale upgrades, providing the team with a more splendid stage to shine and create new legends for Macau's 25th anniversary.”

Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of MGM Resorts International and Co-Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, also sends his congratulatory wishes to the team from the United States via a video, said, “In 2023, we welcomed a year of robust recovery with our market share soaring to a record high. The team’s high competence, along with their strive for excellence, have all contributed to our remarkable results and impressive growth in such a short period of time. We are confident in the Macau market, and will stay dedicated to fulfilling our development commitments to boost the city’s non-gaming elements and to attract more international visitors.”
